Accessibility

The Hanover Theatre is committed to providing access and an enjoyable visit for persons of differing abilities. When purchasing tickets, please be sure to mention if you require any special accommodations, including wheelchair accessible seating, visual or hearing impairment, limited mobility, etc.

Wheelchair accessibility: Parking spaces immediately in front of the theatre and adjacent to the Federal Courthouse on Southbridge Street are reserved for vehicles displaying a handicapped parking permit; the Worcester Police detail stationed in front of the theatre will be happy to assist you. An elevator provides access to lower and upper lobbies, and orchestra and balcony seating. Accessible bathrooms are located on each level.

Accessible Seating: Spaces are reserved near the front of the orchestra for patrons who use wheelchairs and for their ambulatory companions. These tickets may not be reserved online Š please call the box office at 877-571-7469.

Assistive Listening Devices are available at the box office. You will be asked to leave your driverÕs license as a deposit when borrowing an assistive listening device. After the performance, return the listening device and retrieve your license at the lobby concierge desk.

American Sign Language: ASL interpretation is provided at selected performances during the year. Please inquire at the box office.

Audio Description: The Hanover Theatre does not currently offer audio described performances for visually impaired patrons. We are seeking grant support to enable us to implement this program in the future.
