Group says performance venue would complement Hanover site
WORCESTER THEATER PROJECT TAKING SHAPE

It looks like the city's fledgling Theater District in Federal Square will be home to more marquees and may indeed become the official destination outside Boston to take in a play, an opera, a concert, or some other entertainment offering.

A small group of developers — building on the success of the adjacent Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts — wants to retrofit a two-story building at Federal and Main streets into a complex that would include a small theater, space for improvisational and sketch comedy acts, and a pub-style restaurant.
