Guster makes plans for Worcester show

Guster have announced that they will play a show at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester this spring. Scheduled for Wednesday, April 14, the show is presented by Becker College, Worcester State College, Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the Colleges of Worcester Consortium. Tickets for the general public are now on sale for $30 through the venue's box office and website.
The band is currently completing their followup to 2006's Ganging Up On The Sun. The yet-to-be-named album is expected to be released sometime later this year.
"Right now I think we have easily two albums worth of material, so it's really hard to know what we'll end up with," guitarist/vocalist Adam Gardner told Billboard Magazine last fall. "Some of these songs go all over the place but there seems to be a coherence in all of them, which is good. It's still Guster, and we're still focused on melody."
Most recently, the band celebrated the tenth anniversary of the breakthrough album Lost and Gone Forever with an epic show at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston on Halloween night.
