What is IMTA?
The International Modeling and Talent Association or IMTA, is a professional
organization of the finest and most successful modeling and talent training
centers in the world. Since 1987, IMTA has become the recognized leader in
putting new faces in front of the people whose business it is to identify
that illusive spark that heralds the next rising star or supermodel. IMTA’s
first convention was produced in 1987 in New York City. IMTA is known in
the industry for providing the most professional event with the
best-trained, quality, new-to-the-market models and actors.
The early days of IMTA saw the discovery of Actors such as Elijah Wood and
Models like Joel West. IMTA’s success and influence in the industry are
unmatched. With over twenty years of experience, IMTA is truly a
one-of-a-kind event. IMTA is the only modeling and talent showcase in the
world with a proven track record of success. Many of today’s hottest models
and actors launched their careers through the contacts they made at IMTA.
Katie Holmes, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, Sean William Scott, Josh
Duhammel, Brandon Roth, and Alyson Stoner. Locally, Brittany Curran, now
appearing on the new Sitcom, “Men of a Certain Age” as Ray Romano’s
daughter, was also discovered at IMTA. Models such as Jessica White,
Bradley Tomberlin, Sara Dawson, Kim Lemanton, Sean Harju and Tyson Ballou
are among the Models who signed with agents at IMTA.
IMTA produces a week of modeling acting, singing and dancing competitions in
New York City and Los Angeles, the fashion and entertainment centers of the world. Hundreds of fashion and talent agents, personal managers, casting directors, network representatives and music producers judge IMTA Competitions while searching for new models, actors, singers and dancers to work in the fashion and entertainment industries.
